Stretching over a 2 kilometer distance, the Mahogany Man-Made Forest is located along the Loboc and Bilar town borders. Staring at them may become alluringly disturbing as you start to imagine scenes from a Lord of the Rings movie where the roots of the trees seek passersby as captives. Upon entering the dense forests, visitors will instantly notice the change in temperature, especially during the hot summer season. Humid and hot climates surround the forested area, but a cool and fresh breeze refreshes visitors mainly due to the overhanging trees above.
